Monday Musings (1)

This week's musing...

Other than for school, do you read books to learn how to do something? What was/were the topic(s)?

I  acquainted myself in the world of screenwrting before and managed to get a hang of it. I drafted several pages (and many more) before entering a writing contest hosted by Scriptapalooza.  I may not have reached the semis but the whole process was a good tingle that I haven't felt for quite a long time. I also began buying supplement books and "Writing Treatments that Sell" was one of them. I haven't pitched anything yet since I'm approaching it in baby steps. lolz. Then I had a major career change in my life that the drive to dapple on this project was shelved (not only figuratively). I hope to get back on this once all these other worries get sorted out.

  1. Best of luck with the writing - and I hope your worries are sorted soon.

Here’s my Musing Mondays post. :)

  2. Hi my dearest Raine! Thanks for dropping by in my blog. I miss you Girl! So what's this career change that you've mentioned? :)

Take care always my dearest. I hope I can go back to normal in my blogging.

  3. By the way, I've read your five books post and I finished all except the "I Heard That Song Before." M.H. Clark was my favorite when I was in my younger years and I think I still do. Try also Tess Gerritsen and Harlan Coben, for me, they are the best.

  4. We had similar answers today! Good luck with your writing.

  5. @Toni Miss ya too dear! Thanks for the book recs, check ko sila once I find their books. I don't think I've read their work yet. Wow, you've finished all of MCH books? Still plying through my TBR list which is already a mix of some supernatural titles. I haven't started my Yuletide themed- books. lolz.

Thank you for visiting. Drop me a line so I can hop over to your blog too.
