I will sing to (You are Lord of Lords)

After a couple of blunders, I finally understood  this Meme. In fact, I found one for each day in one blog. I hope this won't lose it's novelty but I don't think it would. This is a wonderful kind of sharing so thanks to Amy's "Then Sings My Soul Saturdays."

I heard this song last year. It was memorable to me because I was feeling lost (until now). I went through a career change, which is presently starting to get off the ground but I was still facing things from family. This song would lift me up and I can feel the peace that I've experienced after accepting our Lord as my Personal Savior. I just have to remember. The lyrics - just under the cut. ☺

You are Holy by Newsong
You are holy (You are holy)
You are mighty (You are mighty)
You are worthy (You are worthy)
Worthy of praise (worthy of praise)
I will follow (I will follow)
I will listen (I will listen)
I will love you (I will love you)
All of my days (All of my days)

I will sing to (You are Lord of Lords)
And worship (You are King of Kings)
The King who (You are mighty God)
is worthy (Lord of Everything)
I will love and (You're Emanuel)
adore Him (You're the Great I Am)
And I will bow (You're the Prince of Peace)
down before Him (Who is the Lamb)
and I will sing to (You're the living God)
and worship (You're my saving Grace)
the King who (You will rein forever)
is worthy (You're the Ancient of days)
And I will love and (You are Alpha, Omega,)
adore him (Beginning, and End)
And I will bow down (You're my savior, Messiah)
before Him (Redeemer and Friend)
You're my prince of peace
And I will live my life for You

You are holy (You are holy)
You are mighty (You are mighty)

  1. Amen! LOVE this song:) Thanks so much for sharing it. We are in a very challenging time and turning it over to God is such a relief. Remembering and believing that 'no task ahead of you is as great as the Power behind you' is comforting. It may not be easy, but prayers for strength, guidance and to not be fearful is heard.

    Have a beautiful Saturday!
    Blessings,
    Lynn♥

  2. I love this song and enjoy singing it in our church services when it comes through the "rotation."

I've been doing this meme since it started way back in March of 2008 and I haven't gotten tired of it yet! And I think I've only repeated a couple of songs. There's so much great music out there!

  4. Thank you for the kind words, Lynn. It was indeed frightening to feel having no direction but we all must pick ourselves up and pray for the strength while buffeted by the winds of trials, for guidance when perceptions grow weary and dim, and for peace of the heart to carry on in Life.
