Saturday Snapshots: A Different World

weird looking mushroom
I practically stopped when I spotted this mushroom sprouting near the plant's base.

More of them
I haven't seen yellow mushrooms before so that's why I was a little wigged out.  To participate in Saturday Snapshots meme hosted by Alyce @ at home with books, post a photo that you ( or a friend or a family member) have taken and then leave a direct link to your post at her site. Photos can be old or new, and be of any subject as long as they are clean and appropriate for all eyes to see How much detail you give in the caption is entirely up to you. 4. Love the bizarre fungi. I never realized how many types of fungus grow until I hiked some on the Appalchian Trail. My favorite was a pink fuzzy one that looked like those snack cakes call snowballs, but pink

  18. @Louise Yeah. I even wonder if it grows because of the plant or the fertilizer I'm using that the soil mixes everything then these mushrooms find it cozy to grow.
