I couldn't believe I would have a real chance in winning from Reader's Digest Asia caption contest and yet here is the first prize!

The Complete Calligraphy Stationery Set
It was gorgeous looking kit. It was funny after Reader's Digest Asia sent me the tracking number, I was  frequently checking DHL. I saw the package's journey in real-time whether it was held up or if it was en route. lolz

The nibs, the stamps, how-to mini-books
This little loot gave possibilities to make me try my hand in being creative. Lolz. I just realized we shouldn't discount those grade school art subjects/projects, they will come in handy! I remember my art teacher gave us a calligraphy project and I distinct recall how challenging it was. Haha. I nearly bribe a fellow classmate with my snack to do the assignment since he was a Jedi-master with his pencil. Of course, I didn't since I felt that I've cheated myself so I worked on it. My art teacher gave me a passing score for the effort. Lolz. Ah, kid memories....

No, I will not be  negative about the experience. I will meet the challenge with a smile and lots of perseverance. '☺

Inside the book
Think steady hands. '☺ I can't wait to try these techniques. Definitely, will be doing a lot of practice.
More techniques
I think going slow will do for me so I won't get too frustrated with my own output. Haha.  Oh, before I forget here was what Reader's Digest wants captioned.

What comes to your mind?

Here was my entry :

Didn't know I had a laughing bone in me

  11. Congrats on the win! I have terrible penmanship, so I'm not sure how successful I'd be, but it looks like a lot of fun in theory. :)
